In May 2012, shortly after we decided to start the international adoption process, we “met” a family that lives in China that fosters Chinese orphans.  We fell in love with a little girl in their home, The Ark House.  Time and time again, God showed us how our lives and hearts connected us to this little girl and her foster family.  We believed this little girl was ours and we pursued her in our adoption process.  Months later, we found out that we were unable to adopt that specific little girl.  Although our hearts were broken that she wouldn’t be ours, we praise Him because she is healthy and because she is with the forever family that was meant for her.  We can now see that meeting her was just part of the process and path God had in mind for us.  Because of our deep connection and love for this family, we desired to help them.  We are in the process of starting a non-profit organization to help children in this foster home and other orphans around the world, specifically China and Africa.  As I’m able, I will provide more details.  We are fully committed to praying for these children, advocating for them, and giving any offerings that we can to them.  If you’d like more information on how you can help, or if you desire to become a sponsor for one of the children, please contact me at
